Siete placas macizas, 1,0 mm de espesor, 4,0 mm de separación. Brillantes, frías y electroquímicamente inertes. Aquí no se ha desgastado nada: la placa simplemente aún no está recubierta.
Las pocas micras de la superficie son lo que convierte un trozo de titanio en un ánodo. En una célula RP la capa va sobre todas las placas y sobre ambas caras, porque cada placa hace de ánodo por turnos.
El titanio es el sustrato. La superficie satinada oscura es el producto — y es la parte que un proveedor más barato puede aplicar más fina sin decirlo. Por eso la línea de una oferta que merece discusión es la carga de recubrimiento.
